Who is Dr. Zen?
Zen Matsuda was born in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. He earned his four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from Northwestern College in St. Paul. After graduation, he continued his study in Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, Minnesota. During his course of study, he came across Gonstead Chiropractors that changed his idea about Chiropractic. Spending many hours of seminars, internships, and practice, he learned how to analyze the spine biomechanically and specific/precise correction of the spine. Dr. Zen has finished more than 300 Hours in Gonstead Seminars and Gonstead Methodology Institute. He is a member and a Diplomate of the Gonstead Clinical Study Society. He is also working on his Neurology Diplomate.
Dr. Zen and his wife Fernanda married in 2008 and give birth to a son named Davi Luca. Both are active participants at their church.Dr. Zen served as a Deacon of January 2015 to July 2016, President of the Board for Twin Cities Japanese American Citizen's League from 2016 to 2017, active participant of Better Business Bureau of Minnesota, Minnesota Employee Recreation and Service Council, Japanese American Society of Minnesota, Member of the International Chiropractic Association, ICA Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science, and Diplomate of Gonstead Clinical Study Society. Dr. Zen is also certified in many topics: Certified in Anti-Aging Program, Certified in Foundations of Heart Rate Variability, Certified Chiropractic On-Site Employee Health and Safety, Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner.
